Introduction

This is a 2 and a half-day intensive and rigorous training program covering API publications and relevant documents to prepare those participants who are planning to attain the API 1169 Pipeline Construction Inspector Certification.

Students are required to bring their laptop to this training.

Who Should Attend?

Those planning on sitting for the API 1169 Certification Examination. Pipeline Welding Inspectors, Pipeline Welding Engineers, Pipeline Welding Supervisors, NDT personnel, and those who wish to understand pipeline QA/QC.

Course Description

This is an intensive 2 and a half day course to prepare you to pass the API 1169 certification exam. The Technical Toolboxes API – 1169 Exam Prep Course covers all information in the current API 1169 Pipeline Inspector Certification program “Body of Knowledge.” This program has been developed to provide full coverage for the API certification exam in the context of the API multiple choice exam format. The training will be invaluable in preparing you for the exam and providing you with an edge to passing. Students will be assigned homework for evening study and practice questions and a practice exam will be given.

All questions on the API 1169 examination are derived from the references listed in the Publications Effectivity Sheet. Students should bring with them all U.S. documents listed on page one (1) and three (3) of the attached API Effectivity Sheet below. Technical Toolboxes will provide the US CFR’s on page 2. You may consider also bringing a hard copy of the CFR’s on page 2 with you. Practice tests will be given.
