Matt Boring will present this 1.5-day live webinar titled,”API 1104 and Welding Inspection,” on June 17, 18, 2020.

This training has the minimum required to hold the class. Further information to be provided upon registration.

This 1.5 day live webinar training is geared toward project managers who need awareness of what to expect and look for from their pipeline welding inspection staff. The course expands on our API 1104 training class and gives attendees confidence that they know what questions to ask of their field staff and a better understanding of the corners that are commonly cut and what is expected by PHMSA.

Day 1 wraps up at 5pm (Central) with 15-minute breaks every two hours and a lunch break from 11:30 – 12:30. Day 2 wraps up at 12pm (central) with 15-minute breaks every two hours.

Instructor Bio

Mr. Boring is currently a Principal Engineer and Welding Group Lead for DNV GL. He is also the co-chair of the API 1104 Annex B subcommittee, which oversees the API 1104 in-service welding requirements, and the chair of the ASME PCC-2 Welded Repair Subgroup.

Mr. Boring is a registered Professional Welding Engineer in the State of Ohio, as well as an AWS Certified Welding Engineer and AWS Certified Welding Inspector.
